Our wonderful London Palace Bingo club, previously in the heart of South London at the Elephant & Castle shopping centre is now closed. The closure was caused by the demolition of the shopping centre as part of a regeneration programme in the area.

Memories of The London Palace Bingo
Situated at the top of the Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre, the London Palace bingo club was one of the biggest bingo venues in the UK. There was enough seating for over 2,000 patrons in an area the size of Wembley Stadium’s football pitch. We also had a popular bowling alley situated alongside the bingo club.
The London Palace would regularly welcome around 7,000 bingo members per week. It was at the very heart of the Elephant & Castle community, and will be sorely missed by all of it’s patrons. Palaces owner, Patrick Duffy, fought hard to keep the London Palace going, but eventually the developers got their way and the entire shopping complex was demolished to make way for new developments. Patrick is still searching for a new London venue, but it is a slow process.
The London Palace moves online
While Patrick continues his search for a new London venue, he has opened a special bingo room at ThePalaces.com website which is named The London Palace in honour of this special venue and community of players. Although it will never be the same as meeting up in club, players can login and enjoy a game of bingo with their friends in the London Palace room on the website.

Coach trips to The Palaces Great Yarmouth & Felixstowe
Although the London Palaces is no more, we still have two fantastic bingo clubs situated in Great Yarmouth and Felixstowe. Both are managed by Patrick, who is constantly hopping between the two venues to ensure all his customers are well looked after.
